| How is the IELTS test marked? |
| IELTS is scored on a nine band scale, with each band corresponding to a specified competence in English. IELTS scores are valid for two years IELTS is available on 48 fixed dates a year – up to four times a month, depending on local demand. There is no pass or fail in IELTS. The IELTS lasts for all of 2 hours and 45 minutes (145 Minutes). Each educational institution or organization sets its own level of IELTS scores to meet its individual requirements. |

| When will I receive my IELTS test results? |
| You will receive your IELTS Test Report Form in the mail 13 days after your test date. Some test centers also provide SMS alerts and an Online Results Service. Keep your IELTS Test Report Form in a secure place as you only receive one copy. |
